Welcome to LDA's Card of the Week!

You may nominate any card for this, and it will be displayed in the widget along with your username along with a 300 DC reward!

We'll get a special animation for the Card of the Week as well via a generator the final duelist has given us! (Not sure about this anymore)

Admins and Moderators will decide the winner of the first card of the week nomination. This topic will be closed once nominations are over and will be re-opened once nominations start. You may nominate one card every week, and we will give out a theme for which cards you can nominate, (eg. Fire Cards, Water Cards, 0 ATK Cards, Under 1000 ATK cards.)
In later Card of the Week Nominations, the Card of the Week will be held in a poll, and decided via vote.

All right, this week will go like it used to be. aj6666 give me the changes when you can, and we'll apply them in next week. You will be the mod that helps edit here, and keep this in order. Questions will be PMed to the two of us.

More information will be in the next post.

Card That You Nominate: Plaguespreader Zombie
Why Would You Nominate the Card: I would nominate this card because of its effect. If you use this card to synchro summon. You can re-summon it again for another synchro summon. Because its effect says to return one card from your hand to the top of your deck, its not a -1 even though you would draw the card you already had in your hand. Based on the reasons stated, that is why i would nominate Plauguespreader Zombie Very Happy

Card that you nominate: Blackwing Gale- The Whirlwind

I nominate this card because its almost an essential to a Blackwing deck. This card may only have 1300 attack points but it can take out higher, stronger cards such as Red Eyes Zombie Dragon,Grand Master of the Six etc. It can really help ya in a tight situation. It can also lead to the summoning of Blackwing Armed Wing to do some serious damage to your opponents LP's!

Card That You Nominate: Soldier of the mist valley
Why Would You Nominate the Card:This card is very useful as it is 4 starred and can be used to summon a level 8 tuner easily by using summoner monk's effect as a special summon it also have a decent attack and also it has a nice effect as it can be used to counter strong monsters as : DAD and Goyo to return them back .

Card That You Nominate:Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor
Why Would You Nominate the Card: probably the most unique tuner out there. it can not be used for a synchro summon from the field, but is used wile in the grave yard. this gives you 2 main things:
1. grave yard control it lets you remove its self and another "Blackwing" monster from your grave which is very helpful in summoning Dark Armed Dragon later in the game.
2. a "Blackwing" Synchro monster using a card you have already used instead of taking a -1 to you field.

MST is not a tuner mosnter, pay atention to the week theme.

Card That You Nominate:Water Spirit
Why Would You Nominate the Card: I like this card because it's cute, but that's not the reason why I nominate it. I nominate it's verry usefull to get low level synchros and it's a LVL 1 normal monster so it has more advanteges than other tuners becuase it can be summoned with cards like enchanting fitting room or human wave-tactics.

Card That You Nominate: Krebons
Why Would You Nominate This Card: Krebons can protect itself in exchange for 800 LP. That will protect it until the next turn, where you can summon a monster and synchro summon with it. This effect is great with "The Dark Door", "Raregold Armor", or "Telekinetic Charging Cell".
Also, it is not Limited so you can have up to three in a deck. A really great thing about it is that you can Special Summon it using Emergency Teleport, which is very effective for a quick Synchro Summon.

Why Would You Nominate the Card:..a single card...you can therefore synchro summon in anytime...plus...it can be a 3*, 4*, 5*...so on and so forth,,,,,

Card I nominate: Arcane Apprentice
Why would I nominate that card: Simple its a LV 2 tuner when used as syncro material you can fetch out the trap card Assault Mode Activate, if you have Night WIng Sorceress Very Happy

then you can activate Assault Mode Activate the turn it is set and perform an OTK if you have the right cards... Even if you are not gonna use Assault Mode Activate its still a +1 to your hand, so you can discard it, send it to grave for an effect of your trap,spell,monster.

Card That You Nominate: Junk Synchron
Why Would You Nominate the Card: Junk Synchron is a nice card if you are running a low lvl synchro deck with cards like Quillbolt Hedgehog and the Ojamas to summon Junk Warrior and with Ojama country out, your ojamas with boost Junk warrior's attack.
