| Welcome to LDA's Card of the Week! You may nominate any card for this, and it will be displayed in the widget along with your username along with a 100 DC reward! We'll get a special animation for the Card of the Week as well via a generator the final duelist has given us! Admins and Moderators will decide the winner of the first card of the week nomination. This topic will be closed once nominations are over and will be re-opened once nominations start. You may nominate one card every week, and we will give out a theme for which cards you can nominate, (eg. Fire Cards, Water Cards, 0 ATK Cards, Under 1000 ATK cards.) In later Card of the Week Nominations, the Card of the Week will be held in a poll, and decided via vote. NEW RULE: Each week, the winner will decide what theme to choose. Just fill out this form! - Code:

| My nomination would be Marshmellon because it will always buy time in a time of need and can turn around the duel in a split second; it may not be the coolest looking/strongest monster but its effect is a force to be reckoned with. | |

| Dose it have to be a monnster card? If not i nominate, Mirrior Force Why; because it helps out a lot. But i would rather use, Radiant Mirrior Force. Why: becasue it is not waisted on single attacks witch ive seen very very often, it requiers your opponent to have 3 or more ATK position monsters, then all ATK position monsters die. on a further note, Dark mirrior force is under used but better than mirrior force, in some cases. Why: becase when your opponent attacks it destroys all DEF position monsters, witch i know most have you seen a spirit reaper or marshmolln on the field that you just cant get rid of. Now my monster choice.
Great Maju Garzett Why: Because his ATK become twice the monster tributed Original ATK, makeing one of the greatist beatdown cards in the game.
My order of nominations (If Spell and Traps are allowed) Dark Mirror Force Radiant Mirroir Force Mirrior Force Great Maju Garzett
If i am only allowed one nomination (If spell and traps are eldidgable) DMF
If only monsters GMG | |

Ps- Also .. This card looks way cooler that Jinzo and isnt in KCVDS .. ! and a lot of people dont even know about this card .. !

| Spirit Reaper because it is like marshmallon, but if you can attack with it, you can do some serious damage to an opponents strategy. | |

| Alright.. This looks good. I'll enter in myself, but since I'm doing so, I'll withdraw from this weeks "Admins choose winners" thing. Here's my nomination.
Card That You Nominate: Thunder King - Rai-Oh (KCVDS Name: Raiou) Why Would You Nominate the Card: I would like to nominate this card because of the following reasons.
First of all, the stats itself is a good start. It's a four star light monster with 1900 attack points. It's a powerful monster that doesn't need any sacrifices to play, and it's a light monster which would suffice for the effect of any monster such as Chaos Sorcerer that requires removal of a light and dark monster.
Now.. Not only does it have great stats, but it also has effects with no drawbacks.
Second, its first effect is useful because it prevents any cards from being added to the hand except by drawing. This prevents many of the commonly used card searchers that are in many decks such as Sangan, Gadgets, Reinforcements of the army, and Elemental Hero - Stratos. This effect will prevent many decks from using their strategies as quickly as normally possible.
Third is its second effect. This effect doesn't work as well in KCVDS due to the fact that KCVDS doesn't have a lot of cards for most decks that require lots of special summoning, besides Zombies, but since this isn't just for KCVDS, I'll apply it to everyday real-life dueling. This effect can negate the special summon of any monster to the field by sacrificing itself. This effect can prevent many of the top deck's monsters, such as Judgment Dragon, DAD, Blackwings, etc, which could easily prevent your opponent's win. It's great for counter decks and it is a nice card to side.
Fourth, this card easily fits into many decks and strategies. It works with most anti-meta decks, Little City decks, Lightsworns(it only prevents the effect of Charge of the Light Brigade). It also works very well with Honest in the light decks to stand up to the bigger monsters out there.
And... Fifth and last, but not least, this card also fits into the category that War was talking about. It's a light monster, so it fits into the "let's start with a light monster since it's Light duel academy" category.
And... that's all I can think of. So... yeah. I nominate Thunder King - Rai-Oh.

| card i nominate: brionac, dragon of the ice barrier why: very powerful synchro monster with 2300 atk and 6 stars and u discard any amount of cards to return cards on the field equal to the number of cards u discarded
2nd card i nominate: black rose dragon why: 7 stars, 2400 atk and very good effect
'when this card is synchro summoned, u can destroy all cards on the field. once per turn, you can remove from play 1 plant type monster from your graveyard to change 1 monster ur opponent controls to face up ATK position and reduce it's atk to 0 untill the end phase'

| Woot effect monsters, too bad marshmallon has been used already >.< Nomination: Neo Spacian Grand Mole Why: If this card attacks or is attacked by an opponent's monster, you can return both monsters to their owners' hands at the start of the Damage Step (without damage calculation). When it comes to a devastating effect that will no doubt get rid of a strong monster this is the card to do that job beautifully, you can avoid other monster's flip effects with this also, so bye bye morphing jar and vindictive magician xD. When you attack you also take no damage? Need I say more? Neo Spacian Grand Mole should take this one baby. | |

| effect monsters? that's funny...I somehow knew it was going to be that... Whathever, I'll pick something with a crative effect. Card: Stardust DragonWhy: Of all cards, I think synchros have the most creative effects, and Stardust Dragon is one of my favorites. It has 2500 atk, so it's hard to get rid of, also, it has a powerfull effect negating anything that destroys it making powerfull cards like lightning vortex, fissure and even CCV usless. | |

Stardust dragon is one of the most overpowered cards in the game, I hope when 1.16 comes out people won't be going aroundusing stardust dragon themed decks... which is probably inevitable, this card should definitely be banned and grandmole would return it to the extra deck Grandmole: 1 Stardust Dragon: 0 xD

| You shouldn't talk about overpowered cards when you nominate something as grand mole: Why? Well... fist of all, grand mole is easier to summon, just normal summon it or use giant rat or sangan to get it. Secondly, grand mole can be trown in any deck while stradust would need at least one tunner monster and other monsters to reach 8 stars, thirdly, grand mole can get rid of any monster, while stardust just gets rid of destroying effects, also finaly, stardust will allow more monsters on the oponent's side of the field since grand mole returns it to the hand and can be normal summoned on M2, so tributing stardust will leave you more open than returning grand mole.
Futhurer discussions about this should be done on PMs to avoid spamming.

Lol jeez relax o_o and you posting all the things that make stardust better than gradnmole proves my point that it is overpowered lol thanks, if you'd like to continue this go ahead an PM me ;] I probably won't reply though seeing as how this isn't really anything we should be wasting any more of our time with

| Great Maju Garzett. Strong card who can do big damages in one turn. If you tribute summon him he doubles is ATK by the original ATK of the tributed monster. So if you offer Dark Magician, his ATK becomes 5000!! You can Make the enemy's LP from 8000 to 3000 with this. That's my nomination ~Arlin | |
