EDIT: Even though I asked for blue, the gradient was a purple/pink color, which actually looked better. This is why the picture doesn't have a blue background if anyone is wondering.

primape, first of all, the "picture" under your post is called a signature. To add a signature, go to Profile > Signature. In that bar you can write anything or add an image code to create an image. To attach it your posts, go to profile > preferences > check yes for the one that says "always attach signature"

This is posted in the support section, but I'm guessing you haven't read it
