well... i've played for 4 years but i've gotten much better ever since

i've played for 5 years

I've aslo been playing over four or five years..

My brother introduced me to the game, and we where worse than the noobs in KCVDS, we normal summoned tons of monsters in one turn and we activated trap cards from our hand..also, we summoned ritual and fusion monsters just like that and we thought set monsters had 0 DEF...there a large list of mistakes like those ones, but it would take forever to explain them.

I've been playing for 6 years.

Mmm...when I came to KCVDS I knew the rules, but before that, when I played in RL, I was the nub that thought you could active MST when your opponent activated a Spell or Trap. XD

And I didn't know about Spell Speeds then, or Priority, and "Missing the Timing". Now I do. ^.^

when i first played yugioh i played a japanese version of the eternal duelist soul on GBA i couldn't understand a thing that's why i improved a bit late and they gave me really bad cards to begin with too

Uh 5 years.

Did I mention when on my first duels I see if the cards are automatic. Guess how that turned out... xd

Oh and yes...I suck at dueling.

I've been dueling on and off as I started watching the original Yugioh with Kaiba and Yugi and everyone and at the same time started getting my own cards. Me and my brothers would duel all the time in real life and of course my brothers would MST me and stop everything I did since they tag teamed me. It was like facing 6 dark bribes in a deck but without getting to draw =/. Before that finished I stopped watching the show but KCVDS brought me back to all that. So I had a lot of rulings to catch up on but I'm pretty caught up now xP

lets see iv been playing sence 01' lol we started playing in school then it got band bc ppl started fights with cards 0__0 then we stated akinda underground card trouny like it was illeagle or somthing lol about 8 years for me im a vet

ive been playing for nearly 2 years now. =), honest xD

been playing since before they where even printed in english. friends and I only used monsters of the jap prints since we didn't know what spells and traps did at that time. other than that since it was realesed in the U.S. Uncle owns a card shop so it was easy to get into.

I have been playing since I was 6 and that was 7 years ago and the funny thing is I still get my but kicked constantly

Since My Boards Got over .. That is Since April , 2009 ! .. 3 Months !

when the show first came out ^_^ i remember trying to buy the kaiba starter deck and not being able to find it cause it was sold out everywhere so i settled for the yugi one.. that nub -.- i played for about a year and got some pretty rare cards but then i sold them all. I recently got into KCVDS about two months ago because i love the game but I think spending money on cards is a little stupid. So to answer the question since 2003ish

I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! when I was 11 in July of 2003. 7 years it's been. Wow O_O
It happend after my mother had her 3rd back surgery and spent some time with my family to recover. A couple of weeks later, my grandparents and my mom were watching TV in the living room. I grew bored from watching the news and I went to watch TV in the guest room with very little channels. So I flipped through em' until I came across the Kids WB channel playing Atem dueling against Pegasus (1st season). It really caught much of my interest so much, that I checked to see when it'll play again. Pretty much started from there.. Later I went to Toy R Us and bought the Yugi's Starter Deck since Atem became my favorite character right off the bat.
To this day, I still never grow tired to play Yu-Gi-Oh!. Nice childhood memos I won't forget. ^_^

Oh, and by the way DanceJonDance, I couldn't find the Kaiba Starter deck until I was 15! *lol* Finally!

i played yugioh for about 3-4years then quited because my deck was stolen , and now iam back

i play ygo about 3-4 years

lol yeah that awfulll !!!I made the same noob mistakes before 4-5 years i have been playing yugioh with the only difference that i played trap cards in defence potition !!!

I've played yu gi oh for about 2-3 years

I play yugioh about 3 years. The first game I played was jtp

8 Years. Since like 11. Walked into a card shop and thought the pictures on the cards looked cool. Since then I've never stoped playing.

LOL everyone s hving at least 3 yrs experience in YGO @_@, i was only started since May last year, because my family's finance was gettin better. However, same as Kimo i used to hv a Jap version in GBA, although i somehow knew wht the cards in thre means because they had some CHinese for me to guess the meaning of the cards XD, Seriously, i was completely lost when they start CHAIN LINK, or when thre s a sign of askin me to chain or not, without thinking XD i always pressed the "yes" button
