| Im unsure of what this particular deck would be called. I just call it a remove from play deck. Repeated attempts to get a deck working with this idea usually ends up with a very weak/dependent deck. I was wondering if anyone has any sort of ideas, or deck lists using this central theme?
I always tried to have Gran Maju Da Eiza and Soul Absorption added in these decks, but im unsure if thats a sound idea. Alongside Archefiends, this is one of my favorite deck ideas and I hope a sound deck can be created off this focus.

You're right in everything apart on the trap hole part. Why to complicate your life with Trap Hole when you can have Bottomless Trap Hole? Bottomless removes the monster from game,in every time,even if it's special summoned,Trap Hole,don't destroy Special Summoned monsters,only normal summoned monsters. Also i have a deck,Macro Monarch,i'll post it in this section when i have time.

| about soul absorption, is there really an actual need for a life point boost in this kind of deck? i wouldnt add that card in. and instead of Gren Maju De Eiza i would add Golden Homunculous. it may need a sacrifice but its effect is pretty much the same and it starts off with 1500 ATK already. | |

| What would be the opinion on the helios monsters? I can see the first, and weakest one being a liability, but what of the others? Worth putting in? | |

Yes,the effect of Homunculus is the same as Gram Maju da Eiza,but Gren maju da Eiza is easier to summon. And if you have only Homunculus in hand? You go away crying? And no,Helios is not a good choice.

And no,Helios is not a good choice. this is just my opinion, but: if you're saying that Eiza is better than Homunculus, i'll have to think differently. sure he takes a sacrifice, but if the D.D. deck his in is built correctly, he should have easy access to the field. D.D. Survivor and Scout Plane will hardly ever leave you're field, so theres some sacrificing right there. also, the GK Spy's help with that also. say you have 3 cards removed from play. and Eiza and Homunculous on the field. Eiza's ATK = 0 + 1200 = 1200 Homunculous' ATK = 1500 + 900 = 2400 and you're bound to have more cards removed from play than just 3, especially towards the end of the duel. now, i'm not saying Gren Maju de Eize is useless. no i would never say that. i just think that if you were to chose then to pick Golden Homunculous. unless your in a situation where you have enough monsters that need a sacrifice. again, its just my opinion. and as for Helios, if you're just going to randomly throw him in there (like 1 Primordial Sun + 1 Duo Megistus + 1 Tris Megistus) then no, he should not be in there. if you're making a deck based around him then Helios is ok to put in. just make sure that its something around 2 Primordial Sun + 2 Duos Megistus + 1 Tris Megistus (or even more than that) dont forget that just because Duo and Tris Megistus's effects state that they can be Special Summoned by tributing the lower Helios doesnt mean they cant be summoned any other way.

| Thanks for all the replies! Your guys have been very helpful.
Im not sure I want to base a deck around the Helios cards. They seem to be very weak at first, which can cause dead draws (a huge problem i had with previous decks i made).
And what if I just put two golden and two gran majus' in the deck? A balance of the two sides.
EDIT: After reading some of the popular deck ideas, I cam across three popular ideas. The choas decks, the mill decks, and as mentioned earlier the macro monarch deck. While, I hate using set metadecks most times, there are reasons they are meta decks. I like the mill deck idea, especially when paired with the golden homunculus and gran maju da eiza cards.

| Sorry for double post, but I thought this post should be separate from previous post.
This is the Macro Monarch deck recipe I found for remove from play cards. (Recipe found on the yugioh wikia)
Monster Cards
* Caius the Shadow Monarch x3 * Mobius the Frost Monarch x2 * Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch x3 * Raiza the Storm Monarch x2 * D.D. Survivor x3 * D.D. Assailant x3 * D.D. Warrior x3 * D.D. Warrior Lady * D.D. Scout Plane x3 * Gilasaurus x3 (Your opponent will not have monsters in their graveyard)
Spell Cards
* Allure of Darknessx2 (only if there are enough DARK monsters) * Chaos End * Chaos Greed * Dimension Distortion * Dimensional Fissurex3 * D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnationx3 * Reinforcement of the Army
Trap Cards
* Macro Cosmosx3 * Karma Cutx3 * D.D. Dynamite * Bottomless Trap Holex3 * Return from the Different Dimension o Dimension Fusion (Traditional Only) * Dimensional Prisonx3
And this is an idea for a Beatdown deck (I like this idea alot)
Monster Cards
* D.D. Survivor * D.D. Assailant * D.D. Warrior Lady * Gren Maju Da Eiza * Helios - The Primordial Sun * Helios Duo Megistus * Helios Trice Megistus * Golden Homunculus * Bazoo the Soul-Eater * Necroface * D.D.M. - Different Dimension Master * D.D. Crow * Divine Knight Ishzark * Banisher of the Light * Banisher of the Radiance * Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
Spell Cards
* Inferno Tempest * Chaos End * Chaos Greed * Dimension Distortion * Dimensional Fissure * D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation * Nobleman of Crossout * Soul Release * Soul Absorption
Trap Cards
* Skull Lair * Bottomless Trap Hole * Karma Cut * D.D. Dynamite * Macro Cosmos * Graverobber's Retribution * Return from the Different Dimension * Big Burn
The mill/burn deck didnt have a recipe, but it focused on milling and discarding opponents cards and buring them with graverobber's retribution and dd destruction cards.
What are your thoughts on these decks? Any improvements you would make to either and why?
