| Uhm,i was thinking of an idea...
A Profile Viewable only field, that you can write in you Achievements/Trophies/Medals etc.
In simple words,a Space to write your Achievements/Titles/Etc. you achieved in LDA or another academy.
Tell me what everyone thinks o.o
P.S. I can help admins doing this,i know how to o.o

| Hmm, I was just about to say that people can do it in their signatures. Personally, I think there are too many fields in the Profile right now.
And yeah, I know how to do it; don't worry. As you know, I know my way around forums. ^^, just not sure if we should do this. But it's up to the members, I guess.

I dont realy like that idea so much arian(Arlin)! O.O D:< Anyways, you never take some Rewards/Medals etc.. in another Academy? Maybe that seems strange because you're new to the Academies? Ohmwell,if you don't like it it's your decision ._.

| I always enjoyed getting achievements for things I have done (Wow and xbox live) so this is an excellent idea. Now, Im ripping right off another forum on this idea, but its works very well. The xbox360a.org forum has actual achievements you earn. These achievements are placed in a box under your name. The achievements are represented by small pictures and hovering over them explains what the user did to acquire this achievement.
Some examples would be earning an achievement for 500 posts or for creating an exceptional topic or for winning certain tournaments.
The only problem is the amount of work to get this working. Ace would have to create said box, and someone would have to provide said pictures (they are really small, 10x10 i think) and the admins would have to think of some achievements that you can obtain.
However, Its an excellent idea you posted Jack Atlas, and this is this is just but only one implementation that I have seen.

| In response to Duelingk's post.
Personally, I don't think a person's will to post should be bought.
Besides, I'm sure it would just encourage spam and one word posts.
It's a nice idea but it hinges almost entirely on how people would treat it. If people treat it like the xbox achievements then there are some that will go out of their way to get them, regardless of the means. This goes back to the spam and one word posts.
I like your idea, Jack. As you said, a lot of people already put these sorts of things in their signature and if it were tucked away in their profile then there would be a lot less clutter.
It irritates me when 80% of a topic is composed of people's signatures.

| I can see what you mean, Im not entirely sure, but Im pretty sure a majority of x360a's achievements are one time deals and dont have to be related to posts. And on the subject of posts, people already have incentive, to try and reach the 10 ten post chart on the main page . Like, many of the achievements would be this and this tourney winner, has been of great help to LDA, and so on. Does not have to be things that are obtainable at all times. I was just stating an example that I saw on 360a. Anyway, the decision for what achievements to reward would be up to admins. | |

| I understand. But I stand by what I said about achievements relating to post counts. I never even knew there was a top ten posters list on the homepage If anyone really wanted to get on that they could just keep spamming that thread about what you're listening to. | |

Haha. I just had to say that. DK is not the #1 academy in terms of skilled duelists! If I had to say a top academy in dueling, I'd have to go with Duel Academy. Honestly, they have extremely skilled duelists. DK is okay; gots some strong players like you. But like overall, as a team, they're not that great.
DA, on the other hand, has many strong players, and are in a way, much more balanced.
Just had to say that, when I noticed what you wrote. ^^ You only wrote that cause your main academy is DK.
Well, it's my opinion anyways..
