A Conflict Of Interest

Alright,

Now, I would first like to start this off by saying that what I am speaking of is not of a personal issue but more so of an issue that seems unfair. This is simple and easy to say, if you are in charge of something than you should not be allowed to compete in it. My main focus here is the Signature of the Week competition.

Jack Atlas is very adapt at making signatures and all things graphic, I'll tell you all that straight up, he's much better than me. But, he is the moderator of the signature of the week competition. He shouldn't be allowed to participate in this because of the clear conflict of interest it presents. And, like I said Jack, nothing personal, just, it seems unfair that someone good enough to make it to administrator of a graphics competition, should not be allowed to compete, that will ruin the esteem of the people who are trying to become better because you will win with the superior skills you have. At least with members everyone has a fair shot.

my only thing with this is... Are you competing for money? for your life? If you arent competing for those things at stake, then why worry about it. Your work should show the person you are and what you see

Maybe we should add this rule. Haha. Sounds pretty fair, and he does have some points.. Idk though. Haven't been on it a bit; don't think I should be dealing with this til I get back..

So far we got 3 STOW and Jack only won on one, DAD won on two of them, I'm sorry but I disagree with you. Jack doesn't decides the winners, votings do, so the person who hosts it doesn't changes anything. And if you say he shouldn't participate because he has great GFX skill and he will win for that, then you're wrong too, there's absolutly nothing wrong on wining thanks to your own skills, that's the oposite of cheating, it's not a beginer competiton. Also, if someone's better than you it doesn't means you can't get better.
