Card of the week.

As most of you know (I hope) there was once an event named the card of the week, but it was closed due to the lack of time.

The even went this way:

First, a subject was selected (example: name a field spell card) then from monday to friday members named cards that matched that subject and gave the reason for naming it and on the week-ends. The admins selected one of the named cards and the card they selected was poste on a widget. The person who named the card was the winner and he/she gained 100 DC and picked the next subject.

The reson why this even had to close is as I said beafore, the lack of time because not every admin had time to select a card so to solve that problem I have a diferent idea:

Instead of making every admin select a card, the person who hosts the event selects some of them depending on the reason why the card was named (not the card) and then that person whould make a poll with the selected selected so people may vote and oviusly the card that has more votes would be posted on the widget.

What do you people think?

Hmm. Having people vote for them isn't a bad idea! You're even a step ahead of Ace, haha. And having Admins pick was never that great. They picked the monster they liked most, , rather than the one with the most/greatest support.

I'll add this to the forum poll, displayed in the widgets on the right so more people see it. I'll vote yes, but let's see what everyone else thinks.

Btw aster, don't reopen the old topic, it's too outdated, I think it's better to make a new one and archive the other one (thay did that on KC for the create a card competition.) Also if you don't have time to host it I can do it anytime you're busy.

Sure thing. Also, widgeting and stuff won't be a problem, but I'm not sure I'll be on enough to do the topics, set deadlines, voting etc. So, once in a while, I might call on you to help out.
