you are doning Dimitri style in the wrong way!! First you are only using smudging tool on your render .. and this is your first mistake .. your signature is washedout little bit .. no effects .. and why you are using outer colour on your works .. this is not like Dimitry style ..
i spent 3 months just to know how to make Dimitri background .. don't use smuding tool .. use filters and other C4Ds that may help ..

Yep, and remember: Never use the default glow. Always use White, or any color that fits with the signature.

you can call that ballin style XD good job just add more effects and maybe some c4ds

Ah, and another tip:

When you're done, don't still apply the border: do this first....

Go to "Image>Apply Image..." And click "Ok". Then set the blending mode of the image to "Screen". That should do a nice effect on the image ^.^

Much better. But still the text's outer glow is the default color. Make it white. It's better, believe me.

Or don't even put it. I think it's better without.

Remember:

Always put only one thing out of those: Outer Glow or Stroke.
Both of 'em won't look so good.

Try to make the Stroke white and don't put outer glow. See if it looks good.
