Shop Organization

Okay, I honestly think there are way too many shops, that was stupid of you to allow anyone to make their own shop, is it really necessary to have 3 Deck Shops, 3 Card Makin shops, etc.? I don't think so, I think some members are already in a bad competition with each other, I think we should have one of each kind, and keep the oldest and first shops, duelists can gain DC like crazy, and maybe for not good quality work? That's another way of buying your rank... >.>

Are all of these really necessary? If anything we can close the inactive ones or merge two shops together, but I honestly think it's getting out of hand... >.>

Anyways, bottom line, too many shops, really annoying, need solutions.

- Merge similar ones together so as people work as a team. xP
- Close some.

Darkness Evil had the original sig shop but I PMed him before opening mine as I felt it necessary to ask since he had the original idea for LDA. After he gave me the go ahead was when I opened mine. So if there is a sig shop that deserves to stay then its Darkness Evil's. I think your right Grace there are some shops that make crappy work and people are obligated to pay DC for it since they ordered it. Also having 1 shop each will make sucking up on friends/affliates shops obsolete.
I say JY1 was here with his deck shop first but Devilman501 if he ever opens his shop should stay as his work is appreciated plus having a deck shop is hard work and that can even out the work for them.
Card shops are being copied however aj6666's Dark Syncro Shop is also an original idea so despite being a newer card shop I believe it should stay as well.
The Media Shop was good by Yuseto and that should stay as I have ordered from that shop and am pleased with the work.
KCVDS Skin Shop also should stay and I believe Kimo Online was first so that should stay.
UP's Card Shop should stay as the work is good and also was original
NOTE: UP and aj6666 might be the only ones who can combine a shop to be honest
JY1's Academic Shop is a waste as no one really thinks about using it.
Kneil's shop is also not used and I dont really see him but that might be due to time zones.

Well Grace voted for combining shops but I doubt that will work. So closing some down seems to be the best thing to do.

Well, I personally don't want any shops to be closed, I think we should try merging them first, and if it doesn't work out, we'll try closing some.

First what we do is we contact the owner of similar shops, have them join a Hamachi Network, and let them discuss it, we won't merge them if the owners hate each other. >.>

But something needs to be done, because it's getting out of hand.

Yeah,like Swagger and Marik both have a deck shop,but r both friends that dont want to compete,but they both also make good decks i knoe because swagger made me one and ive heard alot of good things from marik.People like them can merge

yeah...that of I can keep it active, I think it should be merged unforgiven's shop, however, I would only make dark synchro stuff.

lol, actualy those are plain copies of the training ground I made a long time ago, but I deleted it when I noticed no one cared about it.

Not New Members, you just have to at least be in a rank and start out with some DC, or otherwise I'd think you're just doing it for a quick way to get some, which could result in poor quality work that customers would have to pay for. >.>

Another way for less shops is that before someone starts, a shop, they should PM the idea to an Admin, like, if I were to see another deck shop open I'd probably close it 'cause that's too many, or if the idea itself is, um...stupid, then I'd say no to the member that wants to open it. xP

I'll look over all the shops, PM all the owners that have similar ones, then, if they agree, we'll begin the merging.

Update: If we were to merge, here's how I'd do it:

Deck Shop:

Have a deck created for you, request which type, adv/or not, and who you'd like to make the deck for you.

Deck Makers: Swagger, Marik Ishtar, Devilman501 (if he chooses to participate), JadenYuki1 (same for him), mmejia12

Combines 5 different Deck Shops into 1 official one.


Graphic Request Shop:

Requests for avatars, signatures, skins, etc. You can choose which artist you'd like.

Graphic Artists: LtYami, LDA Joey Wheeler, LeonTheBest, Kimo Online, War2142 (if he chooses to participate), Darkness Evil (same)

Combining 6 shops into one.


Card Request Shop:

Requests for whatever kinds of cards.

Card Makers: Swagger, Unforgiven Pretender, aj6666, yuseifudo33

Combining 4 shops into 1.


The good thing about combining shops is that you can request who you'd like to make what for you, I think that'd be much easier, and a whole lot more organized.

Well, it's still an idea in progress, three Hamachi Networks have been created for the owner of each category, so I'm not going to start without their consent.

I will speak with him through hamachi, about who will do what and stuff.

The thing is; I would like to only merge with aj6666.

1: We won't be making the same types of cards, so no rivalry within the shop.
2: We are at the same level in making cards, not to be arrogant, but I have the feeling others are not at the level we are.
3: We have made cards together before, and won't have a fight or whatever about the shop.

I really don't know what to say but i think to merge shop is no't to bad idea buti think that there will be some people that won't agree this think.

Well, I think that's okay, you're right, merging together all of the similar shops will shrink it down too much, we'll just merge some of them. ^^

I know Swagger wanted to merge his shop with Marik Ishtar, and you want to merge with aj6666, so we go from 4 shops to 2.

Maybe i can merge my shop with Kimo Online? The only problem is his shop is for KCVDS Skins Well i can suggest him to be my assistant

Anyway if any Signature Shop would like to merge his shop with mine,i'm ready.

I have talked to UP by ham, I will be making syncrho and dark synchro related stuff on his shop.

So you can close my shop, I don't see the point on merging the two topics togerther, just close mine.

Yep, I merged the shops together.

I have no idea what's going to happen to the other card requests shops.
But we won't be merging together with more persons.

(I think two card shops are fine)

i think cause i do avatars and curom sigs my shop doesnt merge ince no 1 else really does both
