Hamachi Help

Uhm, first off, can i get tested without hamachi....second, if not is there a guide on how to set it up. I have the hamachi set up and i've installed it once but it shows an error when i try to turn it on it shows an error saying it can't connect to my proxy or something like that.

If the Tester can host IP, or if you can host IP then you can be tested without Hamachi.

Uh... I believe your error is "Failed to automatically determine your web proxy"

If that is the error, here is why:
This could happen for a few reasons. The typical reason is due to web
browser misconfiguration. Hamachi will try to automatically use your
web browser settings, but if it cannot, it will not be able to connect.


And here is how to resolve it:
In Internet Explorer:

1. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings.
   
2. If everything in there is blank, set auto-detect on, and OK all the windows.
   
3. If it's not blank, note the proxy settings down, and OK all the windows.
   
4. If a proxy script is listed, you'll need to get the proxy server information from your system/network administrator.
   

In Hamachi:

1. Go to Preferences > Detailed Configuration > and
   
2. If using Auto-Detect in IE, set the proxy setting to Disabled
   
3. If using a proxy, enter the settings from IE in there.
   
4. If a script is used in IE, use the settings your admin has given you for proxy connectivity.
