| Its a drag posting it in here ok here is what it looks like My opponent has a sangan and a giant germ in the field He used them as tribute for LaDD I chained with BTH(Bottomless trap hole)
Will LaDD negate all effects??
So it should like this (I am really not sure on which goes first(just my oppinion)
sangan's effect will resolve LaDD will negate, BTh will resolve , LaDD negates again
it will resolve backwards
Ladd eff (negates BTH) BTH LaDD eff (negates sangan) Sangan
In my opinion BTH will resolve succesfully (Its just my opinion)
The effect of sangan that will resolve in the grave will go first LaDD will trigger and negate the effect of sangan BTH will try to remove LaDD
SO it looks like this (SInce LaDD effects already triggered it cant trigger again) sangan's eff will go first , LaDD's will negate it , BTh will resolve
it will resolve backwards so it looks like this
Bth will destroy and remove from play LaDD Since LaDD is no longer in the field Sangan's eff will resolve opponent can search for a card XD(what a waste)
So which is correct? Will LaDD negate all effect or will LaDD be destroyed and removed from play???

| Ok here we go !
LADD is summoned by tributing Sangan and Giant Germ, When sangan effect activates LADD effect will chain it and BTH will chain LADD effect :
-Sangan ( Chain link 1 )
-LADD ( Chain link 2 )
- BTH ( Chain link 3 )
-Since chains resolves from the last to the first :
-BTH will resolve first ( remove from play LADD )
-LADD effect will resolve after BTH ( negates sangan effect )
Remark : LADD Effect is not Multi Trigger so he can only negate 1 effect per chains.

| It decrease his ATK points to activate his effect so decreasing his ATK is a cost, That's mean before it chain to sangan effect it decrease his ATK by 500 and his effect activates and the effect does not disappear if the monster leave the field. | |

| That's almost correct. I answered this question over at TWA.
Here it is copied pasted(my post at TWA):
This is because LaDD can only negate one effect per chain.
So it is: 1. Sangan (Mandatory Trigger effect) (Resolves in Graveyard) 2. Light and Darkness Dragon is summoned and effect is chained to Sangan 3. Bottomless Trap Hole is activated in response to LaDD's summon.
Since Sangan's effect is a mandatory trigger effect, activated first, LaDD will automatically negate it when it's summoned. Since LaDD can only negate once per chain, Bottomless Trap Hole will not be negated. Bottomless Trap Hole's effect will activate, removing LaDD from play. Now that LaDD's not on the field anymore, Sangan won't be negated, so you can use its effect.
If you want to look at it like a chain, it resolves backwards, like so: 1. Bottomless Trap Hole (Targetting LaDD) 2. Light and Darkness Dragon's second effect is activated negating Sangan 3. Sangan's effect is activated.
Bottomless Trap Hole removes LaDD from play, and isn't negated because LaDD is already targeting Sangan. Since there's no more LaDD, Sangan goes through.
Hope I've answered your question, although I doubt you will be checking here anymore now that UP has answered and locked.
I'll leave this open if you have any questions about it, or someone wants to argue against me. It's free for challenging, and I may be wrong, since I haven't been on rulings/dueling at all since school started. School's been a pain lately, so I haven't been working much on YGO.
Now, here's the answer to your Sangan part of the question: All right, look. Unforgiven Pretender is wrong. ^^ LaDD's second effect automatically targets the first effect activated, not resolved. After LaDD is removed from the field, it cannot negate the effect, simply because you can't pay the cost of 500 attack and defense points.
Here's how your "turn player" works. It's unwritten advanced rulings. If a both cards belonged to you, you get to choose the order in which you want the effects to be activated.
If they belong to two different people, here's how it works. The turn player's effect is automatically placed first in the chain. The non-turn player's effect is placed second on the chain. --Chain Resolves Backwards-- Non-turn player's effect takes place first Turn Player's effect occurs second
Example: Player A's Mystic Tomato attacks Player B's Shining Angel Both monsters are sent to the graveyard, and they simultaneously start a chain. Chain Link 1: Player A's Mystic Tomato, because he is the turn player. Chain Link 2: Player B's Shining Angel. --Chain Resolves Backwards-- 1st: Shining Angel's effect goes first 2nd: Mystic Tomato's effect goes second
And there's your example. Now, back to the question. What is your question? Why would Sangan's effect go first in comparison to what? To LaDD's effect? Well, LaDD's effet definitely goes second as it cannot activate unless there's an effect to negate.
To bottomless Trap Hole? Well, BTH is not activated until after LaDD's summon, which comes after Sangan. So no matter what, Sangan's effect hits first. Now, you're asking about turn player. Turn player has nothing to do with it in this situation.
Now, as far as why Sangan's effect goes first; yes, it goes first because it's a mandatory trigger effect, activated the moment it hits the graveyard.
I'm going to leave this open again, just to make sure you don't have any more questions. If your question has been fully answered, just let me know it's okay to close it by posting it here. If you have any more questions about this, feel free to post, and I'll answer when I have time to look at it."
Just decided to post it here too, since you might check here rather than there.
If you have any questions, you can ask at either topic

| Dude, LADD already paid the cost when it chains because the cost is before the effect and since the effect is already activated to chain sangan, it doesn't disapprear if LADD leaves the field !
So Aster Phoenix you are wrong ^^. !
And i am PiLover not UP xD

| As I stated, it's copied and pasted from somewhere else, where I was talking to UP.
And yes, you are correct where you stated that the cost is already paid. As I've mentioned, I haven't been working on YGO at all, now that school's started. I'm definitely losing it. ^^
I'll get back to this question in a second.

| Actually, I haven't lost it as much as I thought I did. Here's are two quotes from Netrep:
"'Light and Darkness Dragon’s' second effect that negates the activation of Spell, Trap, and the effects of Effect Monsters is Quick Effect. “Light and Darkness Dragon” loses 500 ATK and DEF when its effect is resolved, after negating the activation of the Spell, Trap, or effect of the Effect Monster. This effect can be activated during the Damage Step."
"If the second effect of “Light and Darkness Dragon” is activated and an effect is chained that removes “Light and Darkness Dragon” from the field or flips it face-down, the effect of “Light and Darkness Dragon” will disappear and the activation of the Spell, Trap, or effect of the Effect Monster will not be negated."

| All right. No problem. Glad we straightened it out. Just proves that we all still have lots of room.
And I'll leave this open for now in case kneil_20 has any questions about it.
