As the climate changes out of season the ecosystem begins to fall apart. First, the plants start to die off, this leads many herbivores to an early grave. Some however, learn that they have the ability to process meat. This gives way to a new omnivore species that has seemingly no fear of Humans or other wise. They start to form packs and hunt. Like locusts they travel across the land devouring everything organic in their path. You, along with the rest of the surviving humans from you town and you cute kitten fluffy, take refuge in small town. It was only a matter of time though. The town was overrun in less than a month you spent you last moments watching them dismember fluffy before turning their beady red eyes on you...
