Tai, masu form - masu + tai = want form

eg.
hanasu = to speak, hanashitai = want to speak
Taberu= to eat, tabetai = want to eat
suru = to do shitai = want to do

Literal translation; what want to do? (the "you" is inferred)
Actual meaning 90% of the time; What do you want to do?

Sushi o tabetai.
I want to eat sushi. (again the "I" subject is inferred)

And I always found it odd how in Japanese the subject isn't there often Thanks for kinda pointing that out though, I get what that sentence is supposed to say now haha ^^0 (You did get the kanji right, I just misread because it's used in another word too that has "shiri"/"shi" in it -_-0)
