Sky Scourge Norleas + Evil hero dark gaia deck. crazy?

To be honest, I just cannot stand people that doesn't understand my strategy when I duel with this deck. So I'll get straight to it.

This idea is not created by me so I'll credit other peoples from the internet

The key cards:

Sky Scourge Norleras
Effect Monster
DARK / Fiend / 8 Stars
ATK: 2400 DEF: 1500

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster and 3 DARK Fiend-Type monsters in your Graveyard. You can pay 1000 Life Points to send all cards on the field and in both players' hands to the Graveyard, then you draw 1 card.

It has a very good effect, clearing the field and letting gaia attack straight though. But u might say this is very hard to summon. We aren't going to summon it, it's going straight to the graveyard so Phantom of Chaos can copy its effect.


Phantom of Chaos
Effect Monster
DARK / Fiend / 4 Stars
ATK: 0 DEF: 0

Any Battle Damage this monster inflicts to your opponent becomes 0. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Effect Monster in your Graveyard. Until the End Phase, this card's name is treated as that monster's name, and it gains that monster's effect(s) and ATK.

This is the second key card. It can copy any effect monster's effect by removing them from the graveyard. In this case, it would be Norleas.


A Feather of the Phoenix
Normal Spell

Discard 1 card. Select 1 card from your Graveyard and return it to the top of your Deck.

Most important for finishing this combo. Use it to put dark calling to the top of your deck before activating Norleas's effect because Norleas's effect will get rid of both player's hand and field, after that you draw one card. And that's where this combo starts to work. But before hand, you need strong fiend and rock monsters in your grave for dark calling.


Evil Hero Dark Gaia
Fusion / Effect Monster
EARTH / Fiend / 8 Stars
ATK: ? DEF: 0

1 Fiend-Type monster + 1 Rock-Type monster
This monster cannot be Special Summoned except with "Dark Fusion". The original ATK of this card is equal to the combined ATK of the Fusion Material Monsters used to Fusion Summon it. When this card declares an attack, change all Defense Position monsters your opponent controls to face-up Attack Posititon. (Flip Effects are not activated at this time.)

And of course, our great protagonist, dark gaia. After the field is cleared, and you drew one card (and that is dark calling, put on the top of the deck by feather of phoenix), summons it, and just attack straight through. If the first attack did not finish your opponent, don't worry, because Norleas's effect cleared their hand for you! All they can do is a "lucky-draw" for one more turn.

So basically, the key cards settings will be:

To build a successful gaia deck, those strong fiend and rock monsters are needed. I will recommend some for this deck.

rocks:
Valkryion the Magna Warrior x2 (obviously)
Earth Giant Gaia Plate x2 (also a good choice)
fiends:
Lava Golem x2 (can save you in a tough situation sometimes)
Gorz, Emissary of Darkness x1 (saves you in a tough situation)
Demise, King of Armageddon x1 (Phantom of Chaos can also copy its effect!)

other monsters :

morphing jar x1 (a full hand of fiends and rocks? this will be your answer)
sangan x1 (to search out phantom)
plaguespreader zombie x1 (optional if u don't want synchros and its effect is similar to feather of phoenix)
montage dragon x1 (also optional)


Spells:

Many spell cards are mandatory for this deck.

Dark Calling x3 (DUH)
Trade in x3 (mostly all fusion material is lv 8, including Norleas)
Hand destruction x2 (a good way to change your hand while sending fusion materials to grave)
reasoning x1 (helps to thin the deck as fusion materials are sent to grave)
monster gate x1 (same as above)
swords of revealing light x1 (for protection while preparing the combo)
messenger of peace x1 (same as above)
gold sarcophagus x1 (pretty handy)
MST x1
heavy storm x1 (these 2 for backfield removal)
Magical stone exvacation x2 (re-use any spell card by getting rid of the fusion materials)


Traps:

There will not be that much trap cards in this deck, since Norleas's effect clears everything.

Now, I'll talk about the conditions to perform the combo.

condition #1
have feather of phoenix, phantom of chaos, and dark calling in hand
have at least 1 rock, 1 fiend, and 1 Sky Scourge Norleas in the grave

First activates feather of phoenix, discards dark calling, and puts dark calling back in top of the deck.

Then summon phantom of chaos, remove Norleas in the grave, use its effect to clear the field, and draw dark calling back.

Finally, summon Dark Gaia and attack!


condition #2
have feather of phoenix, phantom of chaos, and any other cards in hand
have at least 1 rock, 1 fiend, 1 Sky Scourge Norleas and 1 dark calling in the grave

First activates feather of phoenix, discard any cards other than feather and phantom, get dark calling on top of the deck

Then summon phantom of chaos, use it to copy Norleas, use its effect, and summon gaia to attack.

condition #3(for if the above conditions aren't right, this can serve as a backup)
have dark calling, phantom of darkness in hand
have at least 1 rock, 1 fiend, and 1 demise, king of armageddon in the grave.

Summon phantom, copy demise, and use its effect to clear the field. Then use dark calling to call forth gaia. then attack.




Overall, it's basically the same idea.
You would want to fill the grave as fast as possible, and gather key cards in hand to perform the combo. Sometimes it depends on luck as well...

Another choice for a fiend type monster is Raviel. It contributes 4000 atk to Dark Gaia.

yes, i would consider it, along with dark dreadroute

but all this deck need is speed, if preparing the combo takes a very long time, you might get crushed easily by your opponent. and those two are not lv-8 that can be used on trade-in, so i dont use those 2 on this deck

uh , yes. the max attack for gaia in my deck is 6500 (valkryion + lava golem)

Actually the max Attack for Gaia in the game can be 7500. There are three choices: either Raviel, Dreadroot or Neosphere. I use Dreadroot myself.

and one thing to add since i see it in BfuryElJohn's post, Dark Gaia has 0 DEF it only gets the attack of the monsters used.

..hehehe i need to fix it too...

i have some mistakes...

i forgot that future fusion cant fuse DARK GAIA....
so when i used this deck i use the combo.(dark fusion+ dark calling) to have 2 DARK GAIAs on my field at the same time..

since my cyber deck was no match for a skill drain deck(*duh!)


i decided to make an experiment...
i also build a blackwing...and i'm planning to make an ARCANA deck..xD
