Shiny Effect Thing

Create a shiny effect on your sig in a few filter effects!


1. Create a new layer.
2. Go to: Image > Apply Image
3. Go to: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur (setting: 2.5)
4. Set the layer's blending mode to Lighten.


For the people who do not know what a blending mode is:
1) This tutorial is not for you.
2) It's the thing on top of the layers box that says ''Normal'' and it's a drop down menu.
3. Since you did not know what a blending mode was, read the tutorial all over again.

This move kills depth. It's way too novice.

Yup and if it was pro, it wouldn't be here now would it?

If you were pro, it would take simple use of conjunction with the Blur and Eraser Tool to create depth, or the High Pass trick in the other topic around here.

Umm... No one in BC will reach PRO level but after passing 6 centuries. It's enough reading the Intermediate part. Does that mean you're Inter in Beginner?

No one in BC (from the ones who post) had reached Novice and they don't know what pro sigs look like. That's why I stopped posting.
